Aamir Khan’s love life is making headlines once again after he introduced his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, to the media at a pre-birthday meet-and-greet on March 13. Gauri, originally from Bengaluru, works with Aamir’s production house but isn’t a Bollywood enthusiast. In fact, she has only watched two of Aamir’s films—Dil Chahta Hai and Lagaan.
During her interaction with the media, Gauri shared what she was looking for in a partner and why she chose Aamir. “I wanted someone who was kind, a gentleman, and just caring,” she said. Aamir, known for his quick wit, responded playfully, “And after all that, you found me?”
Rekindled Connection After 25 Years
Aamir revealed that he had known Gauri for 25 years, though they had lost touch. It was only two years ago that they reconnected and eventually fell in love. He expressed what drew him to Gauri, saying, “I was looking for someone I can be calm with, who gives me peace. And there she was.”
Gauri, who does not have a strong connection to Bollywood, admitted she hasn’t seen much of Aamir’s work. Aamir explained, “She grew up in Bangalore, and her exposure was to different kinds of films and arts. So she doesn’t watch Hindi films.” However, Aamir hopes she will watch Taare Zameen Par.
Gauri Spratt’s Background
According to her LinkedIn profile, Gauri studied at Blue Mountain School and pursued a fashion course, FDA Styling & Photography, from the University of the Arts, London, in 2004. She is also reportedly running a BBlunt salon in Mumbai. Additionally, reports suggest that she has a six-year-old child.
Aamir Introduced Gauri to His Close Circle
Aamir has already introduced Gauri to his children, family, and his close friends in the industry, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. On March 12, both Salman and Shah Rukh visited Aamir’s residence to meet Gauri.
