Gauri Khan Sells Mumbai Flat for ₹11.61 Crore Amid Mannat Renovation

Gauri Khan, renowned interior designer and wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has sold her luxurious 2000 sq ft apartment in Mumbai’s Dadar West for ₹11.61 crore, property documents reveal. The sale comes amid ongoing renovations at the Khan family’s iconic residence, Mannat.

Flat Sold at 37% Appreciation

The apartment, located on the 21st floor of Kohinoor Altissimo in Dadar West, was purchased by Gauri Khan in August 2022 for ₹8.5 crore. Since then, its value has appreciated by an impressive 37%. The per square foot rate for the property is ₹58,507 on the built-up area. The transaction was officially registered on March 28, 2025, with buyers Devendra Chaukar (holding an 87.5% share) and Vandana Agarwal (holding a 12.5% share), as per documents accessed by Zapkey.

  • Kohinoor Altissimo is part of Kohinoor Square, a high-end gated community developed by Kohinoor CTNL Infrastructure Pvt Ltd.
  • The sale includes two car parking spaces, a standard feature in Mumbai’s premium real estate transactions.

SRK and Family Temporarily Relocating

While Gauri Khan has been involved in high-profile real estate transactions, the Khan family is also making temporary housing arrangements. Reports indicate that Shah Rukh Khan has leased two luxury duplex apartments in Mumbai’s elite Pali Hill, Khar, for ₹8.67 crore for three years. This temporary move is due to extensive renovations and expansion at Mannat’s annexe, expected to take nearly two years to complete.

Mumbai’s Booming Luxury Real Estate Market

The sale of Gauri Khan’s property aligns with Mumbai’s thriving ultra-luxury real estate market. A recent study by JLL highlighted that in the past three years, ₹7,500 crore has been invested in 49 ultra-luxury homes, each priced at ₹100 crore or more.

Key Market Insights:

  • In 2024 alone, ₹3,652 crore was invested in high-end residential properties.
  • The first two months of 2025 saw four ultra-luxury home sales amounting to ₹850 crore.
  • Mumbai accounted for 69% of these transactions, followed by Delhi NCR.

With Mumbai’s real estate market booming and Mannat undergoing a grand transformation, the Khan family’s property moves continue to make waves in the industry.
