Fukrey 3 Trailer Reveals High-Stakes Election Battle: Richa Chadha vs. Pulkit Samrat and Gang

Fans of the hit comedy franchise Fukrey are in for a treat as the much-anticipated trailer for Fukrey 3 has finally been unveiled. Returning to the big screen after a six-year hiatus, the quirky ensemble cast, including Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, and the astute astrologer Pankaj Tripathi, promises another uproarious adventure.

The Fukrey 3 trailer opens with a nostalgic trip down memory lane for Pulkit Samrat’s character, Hunny, and Varun Sharma’s Choocha as they revisit their school days. However, the laughter soon turns into high-stakes drama as the gang finds themselves thrust into the world of politics, pitted against the formidable Richa Chadha as Bholi Punjaban, who is determined to reclaim her ‘old life.’

In a hilarious yet intense face-off, Richa Chadha and Pulkit Samrat lock horns in a fierce election battle. As tensions rise and comedy ensues, fans are left eagerly anticipating who will emerge victorious this time around.

Fukrey, since its inception in 2013, has carved a special place in the hearts of audiences as one of Hindi cinema’s most beloved desi comedy franchises. Ali Fazal, who appeared in the first two installments, is notably absent from the new film.

Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Fukrey 3 is all set to hit theaters on September 28, 2023. This release date has undergone several changes, with the film initially scheduled for September 7 but later pushed to December 1. The opportunity to occupy the coveted September 28 slot arose when Prabhas’ Salaar, which was originally scheduled for release on that date, got postponed.

Fukrey 3 is not the only sequel project in Pankaj Tripathi’s busy schedule. The versatile actor also has Stree 2, Mirzapur 3, and Criminal Justice 4 in the pipeline, following his recent release, OMG 2. Speaking about his involvement in sequels, Pankaj Tripathi mentioned in an interview, “Doing sequels is easy because you know the world and character. However, at the same time, it is boring, because you think, ‘How long will this carry forward, like the third or fourth part’. But since it’s a success, maybe it is getting made.”

As the countdown to the release of Fukrey 3 continues, fans can hardly wait to witness the hilarious and electrifying showdown between Richa Chadha’s Bholi Punjaban and Pulkit Samrat’s gang. With its unique blend of humor and drama, Fukrey 3 promises to deliver another memorable chapter in this beloved comedy franchise.
