Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui has reportedly tied the knot with makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala. The first pictures of the couple together have recently surfaced on social media, stirring excitement among fans.
Days after rumors of Munawar’s second marriage emerged, photos of the couple cutting a cake have circulated widely on platforms like X (formerly known as Twitter). In the photos, the couple is seen beaming with joy, clearly in a celebratory mood. Munawar, dressed in a white shirt, and Mehzabeen, looking elegant in lavender, cut into a white cake adorned with flower petals.
Paparazzi photographer Varinder Chawla shared the pictures on Instagram, captioning them, “First picture of #MunawarFaruqui & second wife #MehzabeenCoatwala cutting cake after their wedding goes viral!” Despite the celebratory images, there remains uncertainty about the exact timing of the picture and the confirmation of their marriage.
Fans have reacted enthusiastically to the news, with many congratulating the couple. One fan wrote, “Congratulations #MunawarFaruqui bhai on your 2nd wedding. Best wishes! The rumors of Munawar’s second marriage began on Monday when Times Now quoted a source saying, “Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega apko (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two).” The report indicated that the wedding was a close-knit affair, attended only by close family and friends, and that the couple had held their wedding reception at Mumbai’s ITC Grand Maratha two weeks ago.
Munawar was previously married to Jasmine, with whom he shares a six-year-old son, Mikael. He first spoke about his family during his time on Kangana Ranaut’s show Lock Upp. He also opened up about his son during his participation in Bigg Boss 17, revealing, “I have been with someone for the past two years. I was in a marriage in 2017 and in 2020 we got separated. Last year our divorce was finalized. Amid all this, the best thing about my life is my son. He is 5 years old and stays with me.” Mehzabeen also has a daughter from a previous marriage.
