Her professional career began with her first solo art exhibition in Chandigarh in 1987, which marked the beginning of an inspiring artistic journey. She later worked as a Textile Designer at La’Affair, Greater Kailash, New Delhi, where she gained valuable experience in design and creativity. Continuing to establish herself as an accomplished artist, she organized another successful solo exhibition in New Delhi in 1992, followed by a third solo exhibition in Panchkula in 2018.
From 2008 to 2017, Dr. Hundal served as an artist at a reputed institution in Mohali, where she mentored aspiring artists while continuing to develop her own artistic vision. Since 2017, she has actively participated in numerous national and international group art exhibitions, both online and offline, showcasing her remarkable talent to audiences across the world.
Her strong educational foundation has significantly contributed to her success. She holds a three-year degree in Textile Designing, an Advanced Textile Designing Course, one-year diplomas in Fashion Designing and Commercial Art, and completed Art Masters with Distinction from South Delhi Polytechnic. This comprehensive academic background has strengthened her expertise across multiple creative disciplines.
Over the years, Dr. Babita Hundal has received widespread recognition for her exceptional artistic achievements. She was honoured with the Maan Mahila Ka – Women Achiever Award (2020) and earned global acclaim through two Guinness World Records recognitions (2021–2022), receiving medals and certificates for her remarkable contributions to collaborative art projects. Her growing list of achievements includes the Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award (2021) by RN Talks and the Swami Vivekananda Karmaveera Award (2023).
Her international artistic presence expanded further through participation in prestigious exhibitions, including the Art Carnival in Budapest (2023) and the Teleport International Art Exhibition in Poland (2023). She was also recognized by the Harvard World Records, receiving a medal for her outstanding contributions to the field of art.
