Do Aur Do Pyaar Box Office Collection Day 2: Vidya Balan Film Sees Growth, Total Collection Reaches ₹1.4 Crore

The romantic comedy film “Do Aur Do Pyaar,” starring Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, has shown promising growth at the box office on its second day of release.

According to a report by Sacnilk.com, “Do Aur Do Pyaar” witnessed an estimated collection of ₹85 lakh nett on its second day in India. This substantial growth comes after the film garnered ₹55 lakh nett on its opening day, bringing its total domestic collection to approximately ₹1.4 crore nett within two days of its release.

The film, which delves into the complexities of extra-marital affairs and modern-day relationships, received a 13.72 percent Hindi occupancy overall on Saturday, with Chennai leading in terms of occupancy at 40 percent.

Critics have praised “Do Aur Do Pyaar” for its realistic portrayal of relationship dynamics. An excerpt from Hindustan Times’ review describes the film as a relatable slice-of-life romantic comedy that explores the dilemmas faced by couples in marriages and affairs, without resorting to preachiness or artificiality in its characters.

Vidya Balan, who returns to the silver screen with “Do Aur Do Pyaar” after her last film “Neeyat” in 2023, leads the ensemble cast. Pratik Gandhi follows up his role in “Madgaon Express” with this film, while Ileana D’Cruz makes a comeback after five years since “Pagalpanti” (2019). Sendhil Ramamurthy, known for “Shor in the City” (2010), marks his second Bollywood project with this film.

The positive response from audiences and the steady growth in box office numbers indicate a promising trajectory for “Do Aur Do Pyaar” in the coming days, showcasing the enduring appeal of relatable storytelling in the Indian cinema landscape.
