Day two of the Yatra saw the majestic chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra being pulled through the streets by thousands of hands. The journey to the Gundicha Temple, where the deities will stay for nine days, is seen as an opportunity for devotees to receive divine blessings.
Arabinda K Padhee, Chief Administrator of the Jagannath Temple, announced that the chariot procession began at 9:30 AM on June 28, in alignment with sacred tradition.
