Ahead of his highly anticipated Dil-Luminati concert in Delhi, Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh visited the revered Bangla Sahib Gurudwara to seek blessings. As he prepares to launch the India leg of his tour, Diljit shared a glimpse of his visit on social media, where he was seen dressed in a denim ensemble paired with a red turban. In a serene video posted by his team, he is seen humbly bowing, praying, and accepting prasad, savoring the moment before heading to the stage. His song Aar Nanak Paar Nanak played in the background, adding to the heartfelt post captioned simply, “BANGLA SAHIB.”
The Dil-Luminati tour will kick off at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, with performances scheduled for October 26 and 27. Following the Delhi shows, the tour will move across India, stopping in Jaipur on November 2, Hyderabad on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 17, and Lucknow on November 22. It will conclude in Guwahati on December 29. This series of concerts marks Diljit’s first full-fledged India tour after a successful international leg, and his fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to see him perform live in his homeland.
Expressing his excitement for the India tour, Diljit shared, “Bringing the Dil-Luminati Tour to India is a dream come true. After an incredible journey abroad, performing in my homeland feels like coming full circle. The love and energy I’ve felt from fans worldwide have been extraordinary, but there’s something uniquely special about performing here, where it all began.” With his characteristic enthusiasm, he promised fans a memorable night, saying, “India, get ready, because Punjabi ghar aa gaye oye! We’re going to make history together. I promise you a night you’ll never forget!”
In addition to his musical endeavors, Diljit continues to shine on the silver screen. He was recently seen in Crew, starring alongside Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu. He will next appear in Border 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the classic war drama, alongside Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty, and Varun Dhawan. Border 2, set against the Battle of Longewala, is scheduled to begin filming in November 2024.
