Jr NTR’s latest blockbuster Devara Part 1 continues its strong performance at the box office, showing a promising trend after a slight dip on Monday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film witnessed a surge on Tuesday, earning Rs 13.5 crore, surpassing Monday’s collection of Rs 12.75 crore. With evening and night shows contributing significantly to ticket sales, Devara is well on track for even greater growth.
The film’s total all-India nett collection has now reached an impressive Rs 186 crore, with the worldwide gross collection nearing Rs 340 crore. The original Telugu version held steady, contributing Rs 8 crore, while the Hindi dubbed version added over Rs 5 crore on Tuesday. The Hindi version of Devara Part 1 has been performing consistently well, following a similar pattern seen with Kalki 2898 AD, where the Hindi version outpaced the Telugu one.
The film marks the Telugu debuts of Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, and has received positive feedback across different languages. Devara Part 1 has the advantage of an uninterrupted full week at the box office, facing no major competition until the release of Alia Bhatt’s action film Jigra and the Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, Devara boasts stunning visuals with cinematography by Rathnavelu ISC, production design by Sabu Cyril, and editing by Sreekar Prasad. Initially planned as a standalone film, Devara has been split into two parts, with the first installment hitting theatres on September 27.
Following Devara, Jr NTR is set to team up with Hrithik Roshan for the highly anticipated War 2, adding another exciting project to his already impressive lineup.
