Rohit Shetty’s latest cop universe installment, Singham Again, has taken the box office by storm, giving a tough competition to Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy sequel Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. On its third day, the high-octane action film earned an impressive ₹35 crore, bringing its total domestic collection to a remarkable ₹121 crore, according to Sacnilk.
On its first Sunday, Singham Again enjoyed an impressive 52.55% occupancy in Hindi screenings, with fans flocking to theaters across the country. The movie has surpassed the ₹100 crore milestone in just three days, marking another success in Rohit Shetty’s famed cop universe. This third installment of the Singham series follows the 2011 and 2014 releases and builds on the interconnected cinematic world that also includes Simmba, Sooryavanshi, and Indian Police Force. The film’s star-studded cast—featuring Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, and Dayanand Shetty—has added to its mass appeal and box office pull.
Renowned Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to track the film’s second-day performance, noting that states like Maharashtra and Gujarat delivered exceptional footfalls, especially in national chains post-3 pm. Adarsh added that Singham Again crossed the ₹40 crore mark for the second consecutive day, fueled by strong mass circuit performances, and was poised to break ₹100 crore on Day 3.
“Singham Again remains unstoppable on Day 2 [Saturday], with Maharashtra and Gujarat emerging as the top-performing states,” wrote Taran Adarsh. “The focus now shifts to the trends from Monday to Thursday.”
Produced by Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Devgn Films, and Cinergy, Singham Again has proven to be a strong contender in the Diwali release lineup. It goes head-to-head with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee and featuring Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit in key roles. While both films have performed well, Singham Again currently holds the lead, drawing massive crowds and dominating ticket sales.
