Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 12: Vicky Kaushal's Film Roars Past ₹350 Crore Mark

Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama Chhaava continues its stellar run at the box office, showing no signs of slowing down. The film has now crossed the ₹350 crore milestone, cementing its position as a blockbuster.

According to a Sacnilk report, Chhaava earned ₹18 crore on Day 12 (February 25), pushing its total box office collection to ₹363.25 crore. The film also recorded an occupancy rate of 23.74% in the Hindi market on its second Tuesday.

Star-Studded Cast & Powerful Storytelling

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava brings to life the valiant Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal. Rashmika Mandanna portrays his wife, Maharani Yesubai, while Akshaye Khanna takes on the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The film also features Diana Penty as Aurangzeb’s daughter Shehzadi Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, Ashutosh Rana as Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite, and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Chhaava is adapted from Shivaji Sawant’s famous Marathi novel Chhava, which narrates the heroic and tragic life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Emotional Fan Reactions Go Viral

Beyond its box office success, Chhaava has deeply moved audiences, sparking emotional reactions from fans. Recently, Vicky Kaushal shared a touching video on Instagram, capturing a young fan crying inconsolably in a theatre after watching the film. The child, with a hand on his chest, passionately chanted “Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj”—a moment that deeply resonated with the actor.

Sharing the video, Vicky Kaushal wrote:
“Hamari sabse badi kamai. (Our greatest earning). Proud of you beta (son)… Wish I could give you a hug. Thank you everyone for your love and emotions. We wished for Shambhu Raaje’s story to reach every household in the world… and to see that happening is our greatest victory.”

In another viral video, fans were seen pouring milk over Chhaava‘s poster—a symbolic gesture of reverence often reserved for deities, highlighting the film’s impact on audiences.

Rashmika Mandanna’s Praise for Vicky Kaushal

Meanwhile, Chhaava co-star Rashmika Mandanna recently praised Vicky Kaushal’s dedication and talent. In an interview with Gulf News, she said,
“With Vicky, every day on set, I would think, ‘This guy is amazing.’ It is so rare to find people like him, and I am really grateful to work with him.”

What’s Next for Chhaava?

With its unstoppable box office momentum, Chhaava is poised to break more records in the coming days. As audiences continue to shower love on the film, industry experts predict it could soon cross the ₹400 crore mark, solidifying its place as one of the biggest hits of the year.
