Chandan Shetty and Niveditha Gowda Announce Divorce After Two Years of Marriage

Kannada Bigg Boss winner and actor Chandan Shetty, along with his wife Niveditha Gowda, has officially filed for divorce in the Bengaluru family court. The news was shared by Niveditha herself on Instagram, expressing that despite parting ways, they continue to hold respect and care for each other.

In her Instagram post, Niveditha’s message conveyed, “This day, We, Chandan Shetty and myself have ended our marriage legally on good terms and mutual understanding. We request support from the media, our friends, and fans who stood by us at all times to respect our decision and our privacy. Even though we are going our separate ways, we still care and respect each other. Your kindness, understanding and encouragement mean a lot to both of us during this period. Thank you all.”

The couple’s journey began during their time on Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5, where they first met and developed a close bond. Their relationship evolved from friendship to engagement in 2019 and culminated in marriage in 2020. Despite the challenges leading to their decision to part ways, Chandan Shetty and Niveditha Gowda emphasized the importance of mutual respect and understanding throughout their relationship.

Niveditha Gowda gained prominence through her participation in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5, while Chandan Shetty has established himself as a notable music composer, lyricist, and singer in Kannada cinema. His contributions to the industry include composing music for films like Railway Children and his upcoming project Choo Mantar, featuring Sharan and Meghana Gaonkar.

Chandan Shetty’s versatility extends beyond film music, as he has also made a significant impact in the Kannada music scene through various singles and appearances on reality shows.
