The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has awarded the upcoming film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” a U/A certificate after certain modifications were made to comply with regulations. The film’s runtime, modifications, and other details have sparked interest among audiences ahead of its release.
According to reports, the CBFC instructed the team behind “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” to implement specific changes. Fourteen seconds of visuals were blurred in three scenes, and a scene lasting 19 seconds was trimmed by 25% at around the 57-minute mark. Additionally, a brand name was replaced in one scene, and a disclaimer about liquor consumption was added in another.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s certification details on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” runs for a duration of 2 hours and 44 minutes (164 minutes). The CBFC’s decision to grant the U/A certificate was announced on Tuesday, setting the stage for the film’s theatrical release on April 10, 2024.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” is generating buzz for its grand scale and Hollywood-style cinematic visuals. Shot in locations like Mumbai, London, Abu Dhabi, Scotland, and Jordan, the film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar.
Starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead roles, the film also features Prithviraj Sukumaran as an intriguing villain, along with Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F in significant roles. The recently unveiled official trailer received a positive response from fans, setting the stage for an anticipated Bollywood clash with Ajay Devgn’s “Maidaan.”
