Nancy Tyagi Shines Again at Cannes 2025 in Self-Designed Gown Made from Seelampur FabricFashion Influencer Returns to the International Stage with a Dazzling DIY Creation

Fashion influencer and self-made designer Nancy Tyagi once again turned heads on the red carpet at the 78th Cannes Film Festival with a stunning self-designed gown — crafted from fabric sourced from Seelampur, a bustling fabric hub in North East Delhi.

After making a widely applauded debut at Cannes in 2024, Tyagi returned to the prestigious film festival this year, continuing her tradition of representing Indian craftsmanship on a global stage. Her 2025 look has not only captivated fans but also earned admiration for its intricate design, originality, and cultural pride.

From Delhi’s Seelampur to the French Riviera

A video showcasing Nancy’s second Cannes appearance was shared on Instagram by fashion influencer Sufi Motiwala, who dubbed her “the doll of the Cannes Film Festival.” Motiwala revealed that the shimmering silver gown was made from fabric bought in Seelampur, emphasizing the influence of local markets in creating red-carpet-ready couture.

“She’s having so much fun; she’s waving. She’s a pro now in her second year. She’s just enjoying herself, and this is a beautifully done garment,” Motiwala said in the video.

The Design: Glamour Meets Craft

Nancy’s gown featured a plunging neckline and a corseted bodice embellished with glittering sequins. The ensemble had a structured design that extended into a dramatic headpiece at the back, adorned with rose florets that also trailed down the voluminous tulle skirt. The multi-layered hem and form-fitting silhouette added a theatrical flair while highlighting her figure.

She accessorized the look with emerald-cut drop earrings, silver rings, and statement silver OTT nails on one hand. Her hair was styled in a sleek, center-parted twisted bun, while her makeup featured silver smokey eyes, winged eyeliner, feathered brows, rosy cheeks, a glowing highlighter, and a matte brown lip.

Internet Applauds Nancy’s Glow-Up

Social media was quick to shower Tyagi with praise. “She looks sooooooo much better than last year! The makeup team did an amazing job this time,” one user commented. Another wrote, “GO get it, my girl.” A fan called her look, “OTT, fashion, pageantry, glitzy — it’s Nancy.” Another summed up the sentiment perfectly: “Booooooom. The star that she is.”

Nancy Tyagi’s 2025 Cannes moment is not just about fashion — it’s about persistence, creativity, and the power of homegrown talent shining on the world stage.
