artik Aaryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Surpasses ₹200 Crore Worldwide Box Office in Just Five Days

Kartik Aaryan’s latest film, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,’ has made a remarkable impact at the global box office, crossing the ₹200 crore mark within its first five days. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the third installment of the popular horror-comedy franchise achieved this feat on Tuesday, solidifying Aaryan’s place in the ₹200-crore club for the second time after the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ two years ago.

Strong Opening Week Performance

After four days in theaters, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had already amassed ₹187 crore globally. On its fifth day, Tuesday, it added another ₹20.5 crore to its tally, including ₹13.5 crore from the domestic box office alone. The film’s current earnings stand at ₹165 crore from the domestic market and ₹43 crore (or just over $5 million) from overseas markets, bringing the worldwide total to ₹208 crore.

Thanks to a robust Diwali weekend, which saw 70-75% occupancy in theaters over the initial days, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is on track to reach ₹250 crore by the end of its second weekend. Industry projections suggest it will likely surpass the lifetime gross of ₹266 crore earned by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which remains Kartik Aaryan’s highest-grossing film to date.

Facing Off Against ‘Singham Again’

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had stiff competition from Singham Again, Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated action thriller, which released the same day and enjoyed the advantage of more screens. However, despite a lower screen count, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has steadily narrowed the gap in collections, demonstrating strong audience pull.

About the Film

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 brings back Kartik Aaryan from the previous installment and reintroduces Vidya Balan, who starred in the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The film also stars Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri, adding fresh faces to the franchise. While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 received mixed reviews, it has been praised for its climactic scenes and performances, though some critics found fault with the comedy and lengthy runtime.

With a significant lead-in to its second weekend, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 appears poised to become another major box-office success for Kartik Aaryan, underscoring the franchise’s continued popularity among audiences and its ability to compete in a packed release schedule.
