Arjun Kapoor Reflects on Challenges and Resilience: ‘There Is Love Out There for Me’

Actor Arjun Kapoor recently opened up about the struggles and triumphs in his career over the past five years. In an interview with Masala.com, Arjun shared how he has persevered through tough times while remaining hopeful about the goodwill and love he believes exists for him.

A Difficult Journey

Reflecting on his journey, Arjun acknowledged that the last five years have been challenging. “The last couple of years or even the last five years have been difficult for me,” he said, expressing gratitude for the people who have stood by him. “I have believed that there is love out there for me. There are people who want to cheer for me and support me—whether it’s the paying audience, the industry, or the media.”

Rekindling Early Love and Validation

Arjun, who made his debut in 2012 with Ishaqzaade, shared how the overwhelming love he received early in his career motivated him to seek similar validation. “My debut was met with so much love. Somewhere, I just wanted to rekindle that feeling. I’ve waited patiently and respectfully to be loved and appreciated again,” he revealed.

The actor also spoke about finding positivity and energy in his current phase of life. “There’s positivity, energy, excitement, and genuine love. You still have to work hard on the next opportunities and pick them responsibly. I’m really enjoying this phase, where people even call me by my character’s name. It’s a form of validation that feels rewarding,” he added.

Career Highlights and Recent Success

Since his debut, Arjun has appeared in notable films such as Gunday, 2 States, Finding Fanny, Half Girlfriend, Panipat, and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. While facing ups and downs, he continued to work on diverse projects, including Sardar Ka Grandson, Bhoot Police, Ek Villain Returns, and Kuttey.

Arjun is currently basking in the success of Singham Again, where he played the antagonist Danger Lanka. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film features an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone.

A Surge of Goodwill

Arjun believes that the goodwill and excitement surrounding him stem from the notion of “good prevailing over evil.” He concluded, “Eventually, there are enough good people, and there’s enough goodness in this world where they are backing you.”

With a renewed sense of purpose and a string of successful performances, Arjun Kapoor continues to carve his niche in Bollywood, proving his resilience and talent.
