Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim Address Divorce Rumours with Humor

Actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, who have been married for seven years, recently found themselves caught in the midst of divorce rumours. However, the couple has put all speculation to rest by addressing the buzz in a lighthearted manner through a vlog posted by Shoaib.

Dipika and Shoaib React to the Rumours

In the video, Shoaib jokingly tells Dipika, “Tumne mujhe bataya nahi ke industry mein ek aur shaadi toot rahi hai woh hamari hai (You didn’t tell me that one more marriage in the industry is breaking, and it’s ours)!” Dipika, playing along, responds with a witty remark, “Main kyu batao tumko? Main sumdi mein yeh sab karungi (Why should I tell you? I will do all these things secretly).”

As they prepare food in the kitchen, the couple continues to laugh off the rumors. Dipika even quips, “Yay, you’re the first one to break the news to us!”

Shoaib then shares the rumors with his family, who also react with amusement. He further jokes, “Ramzan ka mahina pura nikal dete hai uske baad dekhenge (It’s the Ramadan month. Let’s stay together for a month).” Ending the vlog on a humorous note, he urges people not to create such baseless news, saying, “Kuch bhi mat news banaye (Don’t make up such news).”

About the Couple

Dipika and Shoaib first met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka in 2011. At the time, Dipika was married to pilot Raunak Samson, but she divorced him in 2015. While there were rumors that her relationship with Shoaib led to the separation, she denied these claims.

The couple tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their son, Ruhaan, in June 2023. Shoaib had shared the news of their baby’s birth on Instagram, writing, “Alhamdulillah today 21st June 2023 early morning we are blessed with a baby boy. It’s a premature delivery, nothing much to worry about. Keep us in your prayers.”
