Veteran actress and television personality Archana Puran Singh is known for her infectious laughter and entertaining screen presence. However, in a lighthearted moment during her latest vlog, her son Aaryamann Sethi jokingly blamed her for his struggles in the entertainment industry, claiming he has faced “reverse nepotism.”

Aaryamann’s Struggles in Bollywood

In the vlog, Archana and her family were seen exploring popular pizza places in Mumbai. During the outing, Aaryamann quipped that despite giving 100 auditions, he hasn’t been able to land a role. He humorously remarked, “Reverse nepotism chal rahi hai mere saath” (Reverse nepotism is happening to me).

His mother, Archana, playfully dismissed the claim, responding, “Idiot! It’s not like you’re not getting a role because I am your mother. You might be doing something wrong; that’s why you’re not landing roles.”

Adding to the humor, Aaryamann then joked, “Oh, so you don’t have to slap the people taking auditions?” leaving everyone in laughter.

Trolling and Criticism

Apart from joking about his acting career, Aaryamann and his brother Ayushmaan Sethi also reacted to online trolls who had criticized them in previous vlogs. One user had commented, “Hero waali vibes nahi hai dono mein. Par theek hai paise waale hain” (They don’t have hero vibes, but it’s fine, they are rich). The family laughed off the remark, showing their ability to take criticism sportingly.

Aaryamann Impresses with His Acting Skills

Despite facing challenges in securing roles, Aaryamann continues to entertain audiences through Archana’s vlogs. In a recent episode, he showcased his acting skills by playing a waiter in a Pav Bhaji eating competition. His performance received praise from netizens, with some even saying he acted better than other star kids.

Archana Puran Singh’s Upcoming Projects

While her son navigates his acting journey, Archana Puran Singh is gearing up for the highly anticipated Netflix comedy series The Great Indian Kapil Show. The show, featuring Kapil Sharma, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Sunil Grover, is set to bring a fresh dose of laughter, though its release date is yet to be announced.
