Ankita Lokhande Denies Rejecting Role in Karan Johar's Student of The Year 3: 'Flattered by Rumours'

Ankita Lokhande, known for her roles in Bigg Boss 17 and Pavitra Rishta, has refuted rumors of rejecting a role in Karan Johar’s upcoming web series Student of The Year 3. Reports had surfaced claiming that Ankita declined a role in the highly anticipated series, but the actor took to Instagram to clarify that she was never approached for the project.

Using her social media platform, Ankita shared a screenshot of the article and expressed her amusement at the rumors. She stated, “Quite flattered by this rumor but this Koffee order wasn’t mine to begin with,” highlighting the false nature of the claims. Ankita’s publicity team also confirmed that she was never part of the project, further dispelling the misinformation.

The initial report by News18 had suggested that Ankita was approached for a significant role in Student of The Year 3, which marks a transition from a film series to a web series under Karan Johar’s direction. However, sources close to the actor have refuted these claims, asserting that she was never in discussions for the role.

Student of The Year 3, directed by Reema Maya, is set to be a digital release on Disney+ Hotstar. Although rumors have circulated regarding the casting of Shanaya Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan, there has been no official confirmation from Karan Johar’s production house.

Ankita Lokhande, meanwhile, has been garnering attention for her recent film Swatantra Veer Savarkar, where she starred alongside Randeep Hooda. The film, released in March, focuses on Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s contributions during India’s Independence struggle and received positive feedback from audiences.
