Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated film Naam, directed by Anees Bazmee, which is set to hit theaters on November 22, 2024. This film marks Devgn’s fourth collaboration with Bazmee, following successful projects such as Deewangee, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, and Hulchul.
The journey to the film’s release has been anything but smooth. Initially shot in 2014, Naam faced significant delays due to the passing of one of its producers. Despite the setbacks, the film is finally making its way to the big screen, much to the excitement of fans and the industry alike.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share the announcement poster, stating, “AJAY DEVGN – ANEES BAZMEE: ‘NAAM’ TO RELEASE ON 22 NOV… ANNOUNCEMENT POSTER UNVEILS.” He confirmed that the film would be released worldwide by PEN Marudhar.
While specific plot details remain under wraps, reports indicate that Naam is a psychological thriller that takes viewers on a gripping journey of self-discovery. The story follows a man who embarks on a quest to regain his identity after losing his memory. The film was shot in picturesque locations in Switzerland and Mumbai.
Initially, the role intended for Priyanka Chopra was taken over by Sameera Reddy, with Bhumika Chawla also featuring in the cast. The film’s music, which is anticipated to be a highlight, has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid Wajid.
With the release date fast approaching, Ajay Devgn fans are eagerly waiting to see how this long-delayed project unfolds on the big screen.
