Aditya Narayan Speaks Out on Viral Concert Incident: "Answerable to the Almighty"

Aditya Narayan, the renowned singer and television host, has finally broken his silence regarding the controversial incident that occurred during one of his recent concerts. The incident, which took place at Rungta R2 College in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, involved Narayan throwing away a fan’s phone, sparking widespread criticism on social media.

In a brief statement to Zoom Entertainment, Aditya Narayan addressed the incident with solemnity, stating, “Honestly, no comments. I am answerable to the Almighty. That’s all.”

The controversy erupted when a video from the concert went viral on social media platforms, capturing the moment when Narayan confiscated a fan’s phone and subsequently threw it into the crowd. The incident occurred while Narayan was performing the song “Aaj Ki Raat” from the 2006 film Don. As he walked across the stage, he paused to address a fan in the audience, leading to the altercation.

According to reports, the event manager, who chose to remain unnamed, provided additional context to the incident. He revealed that the individual involved was not a student of the college but rather someone from outside the institution. The manager alleged that the fan had been persistently disrupting Narayan’s performance by incessantly taking selfies and even banging his phone against the singer’s feet.

“The boy was constantly dragging Aditya’s feet nonstop. He was very irritating. He banged his phone on Aditya’s feet multiple times,” stated the event manager in an interview with Zoom. “After that, only did he lose his cool.”

The event manager emphasized that such disruptive behavior is not uncommon at college events, citing similar incidents experienced by other artists like Darshan Rawal. He defended Narayan’s actions, asserting that the fan’s actions posed a risk to the singer’s safety and could have potentially caused harm.

Despite the backlash, the event manager praised the overall success of the concert, highlighting its smooth progression after the incident and the positive feedback received from the college authorities. He urged the public to consider the full context of the situation before passing judgment solely based on the viral video.

As the discussion surrounding the incident continues to unfold, Aditya Narayan’s brief response underscores a sense of accountability and faith amidst the controversy, leaving room for interpretation and reflection on the events that transpired during the concert.
