Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor Shine in Romantic Teaser of ‘Abir Gulaal’

The much-anticipated teaser of Abir Gulaal, marking Fawad Khan’s Hindi film comeback, was unveiled on Monday, setting social media abuzz with excitement. Directed by Aarti S Bagdi, the film is set to release on May 9.

The teaser offers a glimpse into the on-screen chemistry between Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor. Seated inside a car on a rainy night, Fawad’s character hums the timeless melody Kuch Na Kaho (1942: A Love Story), creating a moment of unspoken romance. Vaani’s character looks at him wistfully before playfully asking, “Are you flirting?” To which Fawad, with his signature charm, responds, “Do you want me to flirt?”

Billed as an international production, Abir Gulaal is produced by Indian Stories, A Richer Lens, and Aarjay Pictures. The film, which began shooting on September 29 last year in London, boasts a cast featuring actors from both India and the UK.

In a joint statement, the makers expressed confidence in Fawad Khan’s ability to mesmerize audiences. “Fawad has a massive global fan base, and we anticipate that audiences and his fans will wholeheartedly embrace this film, as it showcases him in his most endearing role yet. The chemistry between Fawad and Vaani is expected to light up the screen with their captivating performances and undeniable charm.”

Director Aarti S Bagdi described the film as a heartfelt journey of two individuals who unintentionally help each other heal, with love emerging as an unexpected consequence.

With its soulful vibe, enchanting performances, and the return of Fawad Khan to Hindi cinema, Abir Gulaal is poised to be a romantic delight for audiences worldwide.
