The film, which hit screens last Thursday in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, witnessed a strong opening, garnering positive reviews and attracting audiences worldwide. As per reports, “Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life” amassed an impressive ₹50 crore in box office collections globally, marking a significant milestone for the cast and crew.
Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays a pivotal role in the film, expressed his excitement and gratitude on social media, sharing a poster announcing the film’s remarkable achievement. The film’s success at the box office is reflected in its opening day collections of ₹16.7 crore and subsequent growth over the weekend. In India alone, “Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life” reportedly netted ₹21.6 crore across all languages in just three days, highlighting its widespread appeal and box office dominance.
Directed by National Award-winning director Blessy, “Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life” boasts a talented cast including Haitian-French actor Jimmy Jean-Louis and Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby, alongside Amala Paul and KR Gokul. The film is based on the acclaimed 2008 novel “Aadujeevitham” by Benyamin, depicting the harrowing true story of Najeeb, a Kerala man who becomes a slave herding goats in the Gulf region.
Blessy, speaking about the film’s universal appeal and narrative depth, emphasized the challenges and excitement of bringing such a poignant story to life on the big screen.
