A shocking altercation in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, involving a popular television actor, Bhupinder Singh, has resulted in a fatal shooting and multiple injuries. The incident, stemming from a dispute over cutting eucalyptus trees, has sent shockwaves through the region.
Singh, known for roles in TV series like ‘Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam’ and ‘Madhubala’, found himself embroiled in a heated argument while setting up a fence near his farm in Bijnor. The disagreement arose over the cutting of eucalyptus trees adjacent to the agricultural land belonging to Gurdeep Singh, escalating swiftly into a violent clash.
In a tragic turn of events, Bhupinder Singh and three of his associates allegedly launched an attack on Gurdeep Singh’s family members. The confrontation reached a deadly pinnacle when Bhupinder wielded his licensed revolver and opened fire. The gunfire claimed the life of 22-year-old Govind, Gurdeep Singh’s son, and inflicted injuries upon Gurdeep himself, his son Amrik, and wife Beero Bai. The injured parties are currently undergoing medical treatment.
Law enforcement swiftly took action, arresting Bhupinder Singh on charges of murder, attempted murder, and causing voluntary harm, including charges under the Arms Act. Additionally, his associates – Gyan Singh, Jeevan Singh, and Gurjant Singh – were also apprehended in connection with the incident.
