Vivek Anila Satheesh embarked on a journey to Saudi Arabia to partake in the World Compact Games. Hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, Vivek Anila Satheesh is a boxing referee residing in Muthedam Panchayat. He holds the positions of Secretary and Technical Director within the Kerala State Amateur Kickboxing Association and carries the designation of an international referee. This marks a historic moment as Vivek Anila Satheesh becomes the first Indian referee to oversee kickboxing matches at the World Compact Games.

Furthermore, Vivek Anila Satheesh has earned his place as one of the nine ring referees for kickboxing. His wife, Neeta Muthedam, is a dedicated mathematics teacher in a government high school.

At just 28 years old, Vivek is already an ex-army man with nine years of service in the Indian Army as a clerk. His early years were characterized by discipline, rigorous training, and a deep sense of responsibility. These qualities have served him well, both in his military career and his pursuits in the world of kickboxing.

Vivek’s love for combat sports was ignited during his Coaches Certification Course Programme (CCCP) with the Kerala State Amateur Boxing Association. This experience not only instilled him with the necessary knowledge but also awarded him a Three Star Grading, which included course, star, and license certifications. His thirst for excellence was unquenchable, and he quickly found himself immersed in various forms of combat sports, including Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Wushu, Wrestling, and Grappling. His passion extended to the domains of fitness, weight/strength training, arm wrestling, and weight management/diet.

“I can advise on a healthy diet and managing sports injuries,” says Vivek, highlighting his holistic approach to athlete development. His diverse expertise makes him a one-stop resource for aspiring fighters and coaches seeking guidance on all aspects of combat sports and fitness.

However, Vivek Anila Satheesh’s journey is not solely confined to his own personal development. His role as the General Secretary and Technical Director of the Kerala State Amateur Kickboxing Association showcases his dedication to the sport at a grassroots level.
