After creating waves with her breakout performance in Animal, actress Triptii Dimri is all set to reunite with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his next much-anticipated film Spirit, where she will be seen opposite pan-India star Prabhas.
Triptii took to social media to share the exciting update, putting to rest weeks of speculation regarding the film’s female lead. She wrote, “Still sinking in…. So grateful to be trusted with this journey. Thank you @sandeepreddy.vanga .. honoured to be a part of your vision.”
This announcement comes shortly after reports claimed that Deepika Padukone had exited the project due to alleged “unprofessional” demands, including requests for profit-sharing and limited work hours. The news had sparked intense curiosity about who would step into the leading lady’s role alongside Prabhas.
Triptii’s casting in Spirit is not just a reunion with Vanga but also marks her first-ever on-screen collaboration with Prabhas, making the project all the more anticipated. The film is expected to be a high-octane entertainer with Vanga’s signature intense storytelling.
