Choreographer and social media influencer Dhanashree Verma, who has filed for divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, recently celebrated Women’s Day with close friends, including singer Neha Kakkar. She shared glimpses of the celebration on Instagram, where she was seen dancing and enjoying the occasion with Neha and Sonu Kakkar. The group also cut a cake together.
Sharing the pictures, Dhanashree wrote in the caption, “Only love, kindness and respect. Always. Gratitude.”
Dhanashree Attends Be Happy Screening
In addition to the Women’s Day celebrations, Dhanashree was spotted at the Mumbai screening of Abhishek Bachchan’s film Be Happy. A video shared on Instagram showed her exiting the theatre and telling the paparazzi that she felt emotional while watching the movie.
Rumors About Alimony Dismissed
Amid the divorce proceedings, rumors surfaced claiming that Dhanashree demanded ₹60 crore as alimony from Chahal. However, a family member dismissed these reports, calling them “baseless claims.”
In an official statement, the family member said, “No such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumours whatsoever. It is deeply irresponsible to publish such unverified information.” They also urged the media to fact-check before spreading misinformation and to respect the privacy of both individuals and their families.
Dhanashree and Chahal’s Relationship
Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal got married in 2020. However, reports suggest that they have been living separately for the past 18 months before filing for divorce.
