Remembering Sushant Singh Rajput: Rhea Chakraborty and Sister Share Heartfelt Tributes on His 38th Birth Anniversary

As the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput would have turned 38 today, his former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to social media to pay heartfelt tributes in his memory. Sushant, known for his notable roles in films like “Kai Po Che,” “MS Dhoni – The Untold Story,” “Sonchiriya,” and “Chhichhore,” tragically passed away by suicide in 2020 at the age of 34.

On Sunday, Rhea Chakraborty shared a poignant Instagram Stories post featuring a picture of a smiling Sushant, accompanied by a red heart emoji. Simultaneously, Shweta Singh Kirti posted a touching video showcasing Sushant’s happy moments. In her caption, she expressed everlasting love for her “Sona Sa Bhai” and wished him a happy birthday, hoping that his legacy continues to inspire millions to be good-hearted and generous. She emphasized that Sushant’s guiding light should always illuminate the path for others.

Responding to the outpouring of birthday wishes from fans, Shweta graciously acknowledged the love and well-wishes, expressing the hope that Sushant, even in heaven, feels overwhelmed by the immense affection showered upon him.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise led to a complex legal aftermath, with his father filing a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty, accusing her of abetment of suicide. Both Rhea and her brother, Showik Chakraborty, faced arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drugs case related to Sushant. After a few months in custody, they were granted bail. The case was subsequently transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the actor’s death.

Following Sushant’s passing, his Patna residence was transformed into a memorial, preserving the late actor’s telescope, books, guitar, and other personal belongings. Sushant Singh Rajput’s impactful journey in Bollywood, from his debut in “Kai Po Che” to his posthumous release “Dil Bechara,” remains etched in the hearts of his fans, and his contributions continue to be celebrated.

As the industry and fans alike remember Sushant on what would have been his 38th birthday, the tributes from Rhea Chakraborty and Shweta Singh Kirti serve as poignant reflections on the enduring impact of the talented actor’s life.
