Harish Rathod was born in Ringnod village of Ratlam district, Madhya Pradesh. He did his schooling from Sharda Vidya Mandir, his childhood desire was to make a career in singing. His father was a shopkeeper but due to fire in his shop, he had no source of income, so Harish Rathod took singing away from himself to take care of his family and started teaching children in a coaching institute.
