In exciting news for fans, actor Jr NTR has all but confirmed his collaboration with director Nelson Dilipkumar for an upcoming action film under the banner of producer Naga Vamsi. The announcement was made in Jr NTR’s signature playful style during the success meet of the film Mad Square.

The much-anticipated action drama Devara: Part 1, featuring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead, is inching closer to the ₹250 crore mark at the domestic box office. Released on September 27, the film had a stellar opening and maintained strong momentum in its first two weeks. However, recent reports indicate a notable drop in its box office performance this week.

Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, continues to make waves at the box office with impressive numbers on its second weekend. Directed by Kortala Siva, the film, which also marks the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor and features Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist, saw a boost in its collections on Day 10, Sunday. According to reports from Sacnilk, Devara brought in ₹12.25 crore across all languages, bringing its domestic total to ₹243.1 crore.

Hyderabad, October 6, 2024: Devara: Part 1, featuring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, shows no signs of slowing down at the box office. The Koratala Siva-directed action film has continued to perform exceptionally well, earning ₹8.75 crore on its ninth day of release, according to a report by Sacnilk. With a Telugu occupancy of 29.51% on October 5, the film’s total box office collection has now reached ₹230.35 crore.

Jr NTR's latest action epic, Devara: Part 1, continues its remarkable box office run, eyeing a worldwide gross of ₹400 crore. The film, which also marks the Telugu debuts of Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, witnessed a significant surge in collections on Wednesday, benefitting from the Gandhi Jayanti holiday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Devara earned ₹20.5 crore nett on Wednesday alone, marking a 40% jump from Tuesday’s earnings.

Part 1, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, has proven its box office strength after debuting in theatres on September 27. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film had an impressive weekend, with collections of ₹38.2 crore on Saturday and ₹39.9 crore on Sunday. As Monday, often referred to as the crucial test for a film’s long-term success, rolled around, Devara managed to collect ₹12.5 crore, according to Sacnilk, despite a significant drop in numbers. This brings the film’s total domestic box office collection to ₹173.1 crore after just four days.
