The production house behind the film, Maddock Films, confirmed the achievement by releasing a special poster. [Come to theatres, let’s make some new records].”

Rajkummar Rao, reflecting on the success of Stree 2, expressed his gratitude during an interview with News18. But these numbers are way above our expectations. We are glad and super elated. There’s a lot of gratitude that this is happening with a film like Stree, because it is a content-driven film.”

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 features an ensemble cast including Aparshakti Khurrana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi. The film also has special appearances by Tamannaah Bhatia, Akshay Kumar, and Varun Dhawan. Stree 2 is a sequel to the 2018 horror-comedy Stree and is part of Dinesh Vijan’s expanding horror-comedy universe, which also includes Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya.
