Srikanth Clears the Air on Sequel Speculations for Ram Charan and Kiara Advani's Game Changer

As fans eagerly await the release of director Shankar’s maiden Telugu film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, actor Srikanth has addressed questions about a potential sequel. While promoting the film in Hyderabad, Srikanth, who plays a pivotal role, shared his insights on working with Shankar, his character, and whether the film might pave the way for a multi-part franchise.

Srikanth on Working with Shankar and His Role

Srikanth, who plays an ageing chief minister in the film, described the challenges and rewards of his role. He spent over three hours daily in the makeup chair to achieve the character’s older look with prosthetics. “When I first heard the narration, I wondered if I could pull it off,” he admitted. “But once the prosthetics were done, I felt confident I could do justice to the role. Working with Shankar garu is a dream for many, and I feel fortunate to have such a significant role in his film.”

Talking about Shankar’s approach as a director, Srikanth praised his meticulous attention to detail and ability to bring out the best in his actors. “Right from the first day, Shankar made us comfortable. He’s patient and knows exactly how his actors must perform to fit his vision. We just follow his lead,” Srikanth said.

Praises for Co-Stars

Srikanth also highlighted the performances of his co-stars, especially SJ Suryah, whose role he described as multi-faceted and even more compelling than in his previous film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. “SJ Suryah’s character has layers of humour, cunning, and sarcasm, which elevate his performance to the next level. Sharing scenes with such versatile actors, including Ram Charan, Jayaram, and Samuthirakani, has been an amazing experience,” Srikanth shared.

Will Game Changer Have a Sequel?

When asked if Game Changer would follow the current trend of films setting up sequels, Srikanth clarified, “No. I think Game Changer is a standalone single-part movie. While Shankar’s recent films might have faced criticism, he has never failed as a director. This movie has all the commercial elements, including political angles and twists, that people love. I hope it’ll be a big hit.”

What to Expect from Game Changer

With Shankar at the helm, known for his grand narratives and commercial appeal, Game Changer promises to be a gripping political thriller filled with twists, drama, and action. Fans are particularly excited to see Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in lead roles, backed by a stellar ensemble cast.

Game Changer is poised to deliver a cinematic experience that caters to a wide audience, marking a hopeful comeback for Shankar as he once again explores his signature style of storytelling.
