Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, currently enjoying the success of her latest film Bad Newz, recently spoke candidly about her relationship with Katrina Kaif in an interview with News18. Dhupia, who stars alongside Vicky Kaushal in Bad Newz, shared her admiration for Kaif, with whom she has worked in Singh Is Kinng and De Dana Dan.
In the interview, Dhupia expressed her deep fondness for Kaif, describing her as a “rare find.” She stated, “My heart lights up when I see that girl. She’s as nice as she is hardworking and disciplined. She goes out of her way to be interested in everyone’s issues because she genuinely cares for people.” Dhupia emphasized that while not all friendships can be cultivated, her bond with Kaif and Kaushal stands out as particularly special.
Dhupia also recounted her experiences on the Bad Newz set, noting the camaraderie and the food-filled moments shared with co-stars. She revealed, “Every meal became a ceremony. The biggest foodie on set has to be a close one between Vicky and Triptii. This one time, we were shooting in Purani Delhi, and Vicky was craving the most authentic local food. The spread was huge and incredibly delicious, though quite spicy and greasy. Everyone enjoyed it, and you could smell the food all the way down the corridor.”
Bad Newz, which hit theaters on July 19, has received mixed reviews. NDTV film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the film 2 stars out of 5, noting that while Vicky Kaushal’s performance was commendable, the film fell short compared to its predecessor, Good Newwz (2019).
