Popular singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh was greeted with a royal reception in Jaipur ahead of his much-anticipated concert on Sunday evening as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024. The welcome was led by Princess Diya Kumari, a member of the Jaipur royal family and the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan. In a video shared on Instagram, Dosanjh shared his excitement, writing, “Beautiful pink city Jaipur, Rajasthan…it was a beautiful experience thank Princess Diya Kumari.”

Upon arrival, Dosanjh was treated to a grand welcome, which included a traditional horse carriage ride. The singer looked stylish in a white suit and black turban, while Princess Diya walked alongside him, sharing details about the palace’s history. Later in the evening, Dosanjh joined the royal family for a lavish dinner at the palace.

Diljit’s concert in Jaipur follows recent successful performances in Delhi, with a schedule set to span cities across India, including Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, and more. His message to fans attending the Jaipur concert was enthusiastic, inviting them to “Have Dal Bati Churma before coming, there will be tonnes of Bhangra this evening.”

On Saturday, Dosanjh took in Jaipur’s scenic views, sharing serene pictures from Nahargarh Fort, where he enjoyed the sunrise. He also visited Amer Fort, capturing moments feeding pigeons. The Dil-Luminati Tour has attracted significant demand, leading Dosanjh to add extra shows in various cities.

This year has been groundbreaking for Diljit Dosanjh, who made history by performing at Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium as the first Punjabi artist and later graced the cover of Billboard Canada, a first for an Indian artist. His global fan base has also enjoyed his concerts across Europe, with performances in Paris, London, Dublin, and Amsterdam.

Dosanjh’s Jaipur performance promises a vibrant experience, bringing his unique blend of Punjabi music and cultural pride to fans in Rajasthan’s royal city.
