During an interview with News18, Dia disclosed that Samaira does not refer to her as “maa” or “mother” but addresses her by name. Dia emphasized that she harbors no expectations regarding titles, acknowledging that Samaira already has a mother whom she calls “mumma” or “mom.” Dia appreciates the genuine rapport they share, noting that Samaira’s approach has even influenced her son Avyaan, who occasionally calls her “Dia mom.”

On Mother’s Day, Dia expressed her gratitude for motherhood through heartwarming Instagram pictures featuring Samaira and Avyaan. Dia’s genuine love for Samaira was further showcased in her heartfelt birthday tribute in March, where she shared cherished memories and conveyed her everlasting bond with her stepdaughter.

In addition to her family life, Dia’s recent professional endeavors include her role in the road drama Dhak Dhak, where she starred alongside Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi.
