In a gesture of gratitude, the actor distributed T-shirts to his fans. Accompanying the post, he wrote, “This love and blessing since 1982, every Sunday, is a debt I shall never be able to repay…”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is enjoying the success of his recently released film, “Kalki 2898 AD,” in which he plays the role of Ashwatthama. The film, which hit theaters on June 27, has received a tremendous response, crossing the ₹500 crore mark at the box office, with its collection standing at ₹510.83 crore as reported by Sacnilk.

Director Nag Ashwin, who helmed “Kalki 2898 AD,” shared his experience working with the megastar. He told NDTV, “The first day of shoot was with Mr Bachchan Sir and that was as intimidating as it could get.” He continued, “He [Amitabh Bachchan] was in proper prosthetics… and it was the first day of shoot of this film. So, I was just trying to figure out how to work with him. What the boundaries are? Can I tell him that we need more takes? How do I tell him what to do? I think it was because of the experience and the superstar that he is. He just made it all easy and comfortable and he was fully available and made things happen.”

“Kalki 2898 AD” also features an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. The film’s success is a testament to the enduring appeal of Amitabh Bachchan and the stellar performances of its cast.

The Sunday meet-and-greet sessions are a testament to the profound bond he shares with his admirers, a bond that has remained strong for over four decades.
