Allu Aravind Visits Pushpa 2 Premiere Stampede Victim in Hospital, Addresses Allu Arjun’s Absence

The tragic incident that occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4 has left a lasting impact. The stampede-like situation during the event resulted in the death of a woman and left her young son critically injured. Nearly two weeks after the incident, Allu Aravind, the producer of Pushpa 2 and father of the film’s lead actor Allu Arjun, visited the hospital where the boy remains under treatment.

Visit to the Hospital

On Wednesday, Allu Aravind shared an update about the health of the hospitalized boy, Sri Tej, who has been in the ICU since the incident. In a video released to the media, Aravind said, “I just visited Sri Tej in the ICU. I have spoken to the doctors looking after him. The boy has been recovering slowly in the last 10 days, but it might take longer. We are ready to support in any way we can to help him recover. I am thankful that the government has also stepped forward to help him reach normalcy.”

Aravind’s visit was highly anticipated due to the controversy surrounding his son Allu Arjun’s absence from the hospital.

Why Hasn’t Allu Arjun Visited?

Addressing the public’s concern about Allu Arjun’s absence, Allu Aravind explained that his son had planned to visit the family immediately after the incident. “Many people wonder why Allu Arjun hasn’t visited the hospital yet. He wanted to visit them the day after the stampede. However, the hospital authorities asked them to stay put for safety reasons. It’s the same day a case was filed against him,” Aravind stated.

He also revealed that Allu Arjun’s legal team had advised against visiting the hospital at that time. “Our legal team also advised Bunny not to go to the hospital or meet the parents. I have taken permission from the authorities to visit the boy today because he felt bad he couldn’t visit them. I thank CM Revanth Reddy, the police, and the hospital authorities for agreeing,” he added.

The Incident

The unfortunate stampede took place on December 4, when Allu Arjun, along with his Pushpa 2 co-star Rashmika Mandanna and wife Allu Sneha Reddy, visited Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The actor’s appearance attracted a large crowd, leading to the stampede-like situation. The incident resulted in the tragic death of a woman and left her young son severely injured.

Following the incident, the police filed an FIR against Allu Arjun and the theatre management for not informing the authorities about his visit in advance. The situation escalated further when Allu Arjun was arrested by the Chikkadapally Police on December 13. He was held overnight at Chanchalaguda Central Jail and was later granted a 4-week interim bail by the Telangana High Court.

Public Reaction

The incident has garnered significant media attention, with many expressing concern over the safety of fans and the responsibility of celebrities during public appearances. Allu Arjun, who has expressed his grief over the situation, has also faced backlash for not visiting the family sooner. However, with Allu Aravind’s visit to the hospital and the support extended to the victim, it appears that the family is trying to handle the aftermath of this tragic event with caution and care.

As the investigation continues, the focus remains on the well-being of the young boy, with the family and authorities committed to providing the necessary support.
