In response to a decline in box office collection, the producers of the highly-anticipated film Adipurush have announced discounted ticket prices to attract more viewers. The movie, directed by Om Raut and starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has faced criticism for its dialogue and visual effects, which may have contributed to the decline in audience turnout.

T-Series, the production banner behind Adipurush, took to social media on Wednesday to announce the special offer. According to their Instagram post, audiences can now watch the film for a reduced price of ₹150 on Thursday and Friday. The offer aims to provide a more affordable experience for moviegoers and boost the film’s box office performance.

Accompanied by a poster featuring the film’s visuals, the announcement mentioned that the discounted tickets would allow viewers to experience the grandeur of Adipurush in 3D. It also highlighted that certain dialogues had been edited and changed, potentially addressing some of the criticisms received. However, the offer is not valid in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

The decision to introduce discounted ticket prices reflects the producers’ efforts to reignite audience interest in the film and enhance its box office numbers. By making the movie more accessible and affordable, they hope to attract a wider audience and create a positive word-of-mouth buzz surrounding Adipurush.

It is not uncommon for filmmakers to employ such strategies to bolster box office collections, especially when faced with challenges such as negative feedback or competition from other releases. By offering discounted tickets, the producers are giving viewers an incentive to choose Adipurush over other options.

As the film aims to regain momentum and appeal to a broader range of moviegoers, the discounted ticket prices may serve as a turning point for Adipurush’s box office performance. This promotional move seeks to capitalize on the film’s potential and draw audiences back to the theaters, ultimately boosting its overall success.

Whether the discounted prices will successfully revive Adipurush’s box office numbers remains to be seen. However, the proactive approach taken by the producers indicates their determination to address audience concerns and ensure the film’s commercial viability. As audiences take advantage of the reduced prices, Adipurush has another opportunity to captivate viewers and make its mark at the box office.

Adipurush, the highly anticipated film backed by T-Series with a reported budget of ₹500 crore, has garnered attention for its box office performance. In just five days, the movie managed to accumulate a gross collection of ₹395 crore. However, a closer analysis of the official numbers reveals a slight decline in earnings on Monday and Tuesday compared to its stellar opening weekend. While the film made an impressive ₹140 crore on its first day, it witnessed a dip with ₹35 crore on Monday and ₹20 crore on Tuesday. Despite these midweek fluctuations, Adipurush’s overall box office performance remains noteworthy, and its upcoming numbers will determine if the film can sustain its initial success and continue to captivate audiences.
