Step inside Jaaved Jaaferi's massive sea-facing Bandra home with stunning decor and a calm vibe

Actor Jaaved Jaaferi recently welcomed Architectural Digest into his Mumbai home, offering a glimpse into the exquisite beauty of his sea-facing apartment in Bandra. In a new house tour video, Jaaved, accompanied by his children Meezaan and Alaviaa, showcased the serene and elegant interiors of their residence.

The house, adorned with beige hues and textured walls, exudes a sense of tranquility and sophistication. Tall plants like rubber plants and plumerias add a touch of nature to every corner. The living room boasts a plush sage green couch complemented by comfortable chairs in boucle texture. Large white paper lamps hanging from the ceilings and a Spanish decor-inspired dining table set create a cozy and inviting ambiance.

Jaaved, who describes himself as a ‘Bandra boy’ at heart, initially moved to Lokhandwala but later returned to Bandra at the insistence of his kids. Despite Bandra’s reputation for dense population and close-set buildings, Jaaved fell in love with their new home instantly. He mentioned in the video, “Earlier my problem with Bandra was that, with the amount of construction everywhere, buildings are situated amusingly close together where you can open the door and ask for a cup of sugar. But when I saw this place I just fell in love.”

The tour also includes a glimpse of the kids’ rooms, featuring spacious closets, cozy beds, and personal touches that reflect their interests. Meezaan showcased his collection of music CDs, while Alaviaa shared her love for gaming with her PlayStation, particularly enjoying Fortnite.

Jaaved emphasized that what makes their house a home is not just the beautiful decor but also the warmth and love shared among the family members. He noted, “A house is just four walls, but what makes it a home are the people that live in it and share warm moments of love, care, and sharing.”
