Chiranjeevi Applauds Teja Sajja for Fulfilling His Dream with 'HanuMan'

At the South India Film Festival organized by Aha in Hyderabad, veteran actor Chiranjeevi expressed his immense pride in Teja Sajja, highlighting how the young actor had fulfilled a long-held dream with his recent film “HanuMan.”

During a conversation hosted by Rajeev Masand on stage, Chiranjeevi was asked about a film he wished he had the opportunity to do. Instead of naming one of his own iconic films, Chiranjeevi surprised everyone by praising Teja Sajja and his work in “HanuMan.” He reminisced about their shared history, mentioning how Teja began his career as a child artist in films like “Indra” (2002) alongside Chiranjeevi.

Chiranjeevi emphasized Teja’s journey from a child actor to a leading performer, stating, “He doesn’t belong to any film family. He started liking me, drawing inspiration from my films. Now he did a film on Hanuman (HanuMan), I wanted to do that long ago. But, when he did it, I was satisfied.” He expressed his satisfaction at seeing Teja realize this dream and acknowledged the actor’s growth and success in the industry.

Teja Sajja’s career trajectory, from his early roles in films like “Choodalani Vundhi” and “Raja Kumarudu” to his recent lead roles in “Oh Baby” and “Zombie Reddy,” was highlighted. The audience learned about his collaborations with Chiranjeevi and how he evolved as an artist, eventually gaining recognition for his work in “HanuMan.”

Looking ahead, Chiranjeevi is set to appear in “Vishwambhara,” directed by Mallidi Vassishta and co-starring Trisha Krishnan, slated for release on Sankranthi next year. Meanwhile, Teja Sajja is gearing up for an action-adventure film, details of which are yet to be announced, where he will share the screen with another prominent actor from the Telugu film industry playing the antagonist role.

The admiration and respect shared between Chiranjeevi and Teja Sajja underscored the camaraderie and mutual appreciation within the Tollywood fraternity, resonating with fans and industry insiders alike.
