“Randeep Hooda’s ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ Surges on Day 3, Grosses Close to ₹3 Crore at Indian Box Office”

“Swatantra Veer Savarkar,” the directorial venture of Randeep Hooda, continues to impress at the Indian box office, witnessing significant growth and collecting close to ₹3 crore on its third day of release. The film, which delves into the inspiring journey of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar during India’s struggle for independence, has been garnering positive responses from audiences and critics alike.

According to reports from Sacnilk.com, “Swatantra Veer Savarkar” has accumulated approximately ₹6 crore in India since its theatrical release on March 22 in both Hindi and Marathi languages.

The film’s box office performance showcases its steady climb, starting with an opening day collection of ₹1.05 crore (₹1.04 crore from Hindi screenings and ₹1 lakh from Marathi screenings). On its second day, the film earned ₹2.25 crore solely from Hindi screenings. The third-day estimates reveal a notable increase as it mints ₹2.60 crore nett in India, bringing its total earnings to ₹5.90 crore nett.

“Swatantra Veer Savarkar” not only showcases Randeep Hooda’s prowess as a director but also features him in a pivotal role alongside talented actors like Ankita Lokhande and Amit Sial. The film is a joint production effort by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Randeep Hooda, and Yogesh Rahar, with additional contributions from Roopa Pandit, Sam Khan, Anwar Ali, and Panchali Chakraborty.

The cinematic portrayal of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s life, known as Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, has resonated with audiences, shedding light on his contributions to India’s freedom struggle. The film’s narrative captures the essence of Savarkar’s relentless spirit and his unwavering commitment to India’s independence.

Recently, the film received a special screening attended by Union Minister Piyush Goyal in Mumbai. Randeep Hooda, in an interview with ANI, expressed his dedication to portraying Savarkar’s life authentically, highlighting the extensive research and preparation he undertook for the role.

“Swatantra Veer Savarkar” stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of one of India’s most revered freedom fighters, and its success at the box office reflects the audience’s appreciation for stories that celebrate the nation’s rich history and heritage.
