In a swift response to circulating reports, actors Raj Anadkat and Munmun Dutta from the popular television show “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” have vehemently denied engagement rumors that surfaced online. Both stars took to social media and media outlets to clarify that the speculation regarding their engagement holds no truth.
Addressing the rumors, Raj Anadkat utilized his Instagram Stories platform on Wednesday to dispel the misinformation, stating, “Hello Everyone, Just to clear things up, the news you’ve been seeing on social media is false and baseless. Team Raj Anadkat.”
Similarly, Munmun Dutta refuted the claims in an interview with Times of India, denouncing the news as “ridiculous, fake, and ludicrous.” She emphasized that there is “zero ounce of truth” to the rumors and expressed her reluctance to engage with such fabricated stories repeatedly surfacing.
This recent instance isn’t the first time the duo has faced rumors regarding their relationship. Dating back to 2021, similar speculations emerged, prompting both actors to issue detailed statements debunking the false narratives.
During the previous episode of rumors, Raj Anadkat expressed his frustration at the repercussions of such baseless claims, urging those responsible for spreading misinformation to reconsider the impact on his life. Munmun Dutta echoed similar sentiments, condemning the negativity and derogatory remarks directed at her online.
