Taapsee Pannu Responds to Wedding Rumors: "You'll Know When It Happens"

Amid swirling rumors surrounding her impending nuptials to long-time beau Mathias Boe, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has broken her silence. Addressing the speculation in a recent interview with Zoom, Pannu expressed her desire to get married and assured fans that when the time comes, they will be the first to know.

The actress, who has been romantically linked with badminton player Mathias Boe for nearly a decade, responded to reports suggesting an intimate wedding ceremony scheduled for the end of March. However, Pannu remained coy about confirming any details, emphasizing that she intends to announce her wedding on her terms, at the “right place and moment.”

“I want to get married one day, and whenever I do, you will get to know about it,” Pannu asserted during the interview. She expressed frustration over the persistent speculation, stating, “If I find the right place and moment for it, I will myself talk about it. But there’s this forceful prodding… If I have to announce it, I will do it. Am I doing something wrong?”

Despite maintaining a transparent stance about her relationship with Boe, Pannu lamented the intrusive nature of the media and public scrutiny. “Marriage is a part of our life, it is accepted by everyone. It is not like I am cheating on anyone. It’s not like I’m doing something illegal. So why all this speculation?” she questioned.

Refuting assumptions about her single status, Pannu reaffirmed her commitment to honesty in her personal life. “I am single, and people don’t expect me to get married or what? I have been very honest about my relationship; it is not like I have hidden it. So, whenever it (wedding) happens, you will know,” she declared.

While reports have surfaced suggesting a grand celebration in Udaipur at the end of March, blending Sikh and Christian traditions, Pannu remained tight-lipped about the specifics. According to a recent NDTV report, the couple plans to keep the festivities a family affair, with no Bollywood celebrities in attendance.
