Sidhu Moosewala's Mother, 58, Expecting Baby via IVF: Due in March

In a remarkable turn of events, the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s family is set to welcome a new addition. Sidhu’s mother, Charan Singh, aged 58, has conceived a baby through IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) and is due to give birth in March, as confirmed by family sources to Tribune.

The news comes as a surprise to many, especially considering Charan Singh’s age. In 2022, she had declared her age as 56 when filing an affidavit as a covering candidate for Sidhu’s political endeavors in Mansa. Currently under medical care, Charan Singh’s pregnancy marks a significant moment for the family, particularly following the tragic loss of Sidhu Moosewala in May 2022.

Sidhu Moosewala, a prominent figure in the Punjabi music industry, was fatally shot in Punjab’s Mansa district, sending shockwaves throughout the community. His untimely demise prompted widespread mourning and calls for justice. The investigation into his death remains ongoing, with the Punjab police special investigation team (SIT) actively probing the case.

Amidst the sorrow and seeking justice for Sidhu, his family’s announcement of Charan Singh’s pregnancy brings a ray of hope and positivity. Despite the challenges they’ve faced, including the loss of their only child, Sidhu’s parents are preparing to embrace parenthood once again.

Diljit Dosanjh, another renowned figure in Punjabi entertainment, has previously expressed empathy towards Sidhu Moosewala’s parents, acknowledging the immense pain they must endure. In an interview with Film Companion, Dosanjh lamented the tragedies befalling artists and criticized the government for what he termed as negligence.

As Sidhu Moosewala’s legacy continues to resonate in the hearts of his fans and peers, the news of his mother’s pregnancy serves as a poignant reminder of resilience and the enduring spirit of hope within his family. The forthcoming arrival of a new member brings both joy and solace amidst the ongoing quest for justice in the wake of Sidhu’s tragic passing.
