The narrative of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is set in the fictitious city of Khansaar, revolving around the bond between two friends, Deva (played by Prabhas) and Vardha (portrayed by Prithviraj). Hombale Films reported that the film collected a colossal ₹178.7 crore on its opening day, surging past previous Indian title records for 2023. It notably surpassed the opening day figures of Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbusters, Pathaan and Jawan, as well as Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal.
