Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda starrer becomes a blockbuster, sequel confirmed
Sunny Deol’s latest action-packed entertainer Jaat has stormed past the Rs 100 crore mark at the global box office within just 11 days of its release. The film, which hit theatres on April 10, has grossed Rs 102.13 crore worldwide, according to an official announcement made by the makers on Monday.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni and jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, Jaat has emerged as a major commercial success, particularly resonating with fans of mass cinema and single-screen audiences.
Mythri Movie Makers took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate the milestone, sharing a poster with the caption:
“The celebration of mass commercial cinema. A feast for the Single Screens continues. #JAAT collects 102.13 CRORES GROSS WORLDWIDE.”
The film stars Sunny Deol in a power-packed role, supported by a stellar cast including Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Saiyami Kher. With high-octane action sequences, emotional drama, and a gripping storyline, Jaat has managed to strike a chord with viewers across regions.
Adding to the excitement, the production team recently confirmed that a sequel is already in the works. A post made last week on social media hinted at the continuation of the Jaat saga, much to the delight of fans.
With strong word-of-mouth and continued support from the masses, Jaat is expected to maintain its momentum at the box office in the coming days.
