BTS' Jungkook Pens Emotional Letter to ARMY, Says He 'Constantly Thinks' About Fans Amid Military Service

BTS’s Jungkook, who is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service in South Korea, shared a heartfelt letter with his fans, expressing his deep appreciation and love for ARMY. The singer revealed that he constantly thinks about his fans, even as he navigates his military duties.

Jungkook’s Heartfelt Message to ARMY

On February 15, Jungkook took to a fan communication platform to share an emotional update. He began his letter by checking in on fans, writing, “ARMY, are you all doing well?” He described the weather as “unusually bleak”, reflecting his own contemplative state of mind.

The Seven singer shared that he often imagines himself with ARMY in pictures, which brings a smile to his face. However, he also admitted to moments of doubt, wondering if those memories were merely a product of his imagination. “But even in that doubt, I’ll make sure to create even more beautiful memories than those imagined. Of course, I need to put in the effort,” Jungkook wrote, as reported by All Kpop.

He further expressed his deep connection with fans, stating, “The heart that thinks of ARMY and the pencil that wrote my story belongs to you, and I will never forget that.” The global K-pop star also admitted to experiencing feelings of “anxiety, excitement, and impatience” as he continues his service.

Concluding his message, Jungkook reassured fans of his unwavering thoughts for them. “I just want you to know that I’m constantly thinking about you. I don’t wish for anything else. Thank you for reading my words. I miss you all. I’m still waiting. Please take care of your health, and I love you.”

Jungkook’s Military Service

Jungkook, along with fellow BTS member Jimin, enlisted for military service on December 12, 2023. He is currently serving as a corporal in the 5th Infantry Division of the South Korean Army. Fans are eagerly counting down to his discharge date, set for June 11, 2025, marking the end of a significant yet brief hiatus from his music career.
