
Western Railway has announced two special trains from Bandra Terminus to Ahmedabad to cater to the increased demand for travel during Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour concert. The British rock band will perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26, 2025, drawing fans from across the country.
With sky-high airfares complicating travel plans, this initiative aims to provide relief for concert-goers and other passengers heading to Ahmedabad. Western Railway shared the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) on January 21, with the note: “WR will run Train Nos. 09461/62 Bandra Terminus – Ahmedabad Superfast Special to meet the travel demand created by Coldplay concertgoers traveling to Ahmedabad and other passengers.”

The trains will stop at Borivali, Dahanu Road, Vapi, Valsad, Udhna, and Vadodara stations in both directions.
Coach and Booking Details
These special trains are equipped with AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches to accommodate passengers from various economic backgrounds. Ticket bookings will open on January 22 at all PRS counters and via the IRCTC website.
