Salman Khan Receives Fresh ₹5 Crore Threat From Bishnoi Gang: 'Pay Or Face Worse Fate Than Baba Siddiqui'

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again been issued a death threat, allegedly by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding ₹5 crore to “end the enmity.” The threatening message, which was sent via WhatsApp to Mumbai Traffic Police, warned that if the actor failed to pay the sum, he would meet a fate worse than that of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui, who was recently murdered—allegedly by members of the Bishnoi gang.

The chilling message read: “Don’t take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay ₹5 crore. If the money is not given, his condition will be worse than Baba Siddiqui’s.” This threat has raised serious concerns for Khan’s safety, especially as it comes amid an ongoing feud between the actor and the Bishnoi gang, which traces back to Khan’s alleged involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

Increased Security for Salman Khan

In response to the threat, the Mumbai Police have ramped up security around Salman Khan’s Bandra residence. Sources within the police department have revealed that efforts are underway to trace the origin of the WhatsApp message. The actor has been placed on high alert following previous threats, and this latest development has only intensified concerns over his safety.

Yesterday, in a significant breakthrough, Navi Mumbai Police arrested Sukha alias Sukhbir Balbir Singh, a key member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in Panipat, Haryana. Singh had allegedly been planning to orchestrate an attack on Salman Khan. According to police sources, Singh was in direct contact with a handler, Dogar, who is based in Pakistan. The gang had reportedly plotted to assassinate the actor using firearms smuggled from Pakistan, including high-powered weapons like AK-47s, M16s, and AK-92s.

A Broader Conspiracy Unfolds

Singh’s arrest is part of a broader investigation into the Bishnoi gang’s ongoing conspiracy to target Salman Khan. Earlier this year, the Navi Mumbai Police registered an FIR against 18 individuals from the Bishnoi gang, accusing them of plotting to kill the actor. Among the high-profile names in the case are Lawrence Bishnoi himself, his brother Anmol, Sampat Nehra, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Godhara, all of whom are notorious for their involvement in organised crime across North India.

The police investigation has uncovered disturbing details about the gang’s efforts to monitor Salman Khan. Police sources revealed that the Bishnoi gang deployed 60 to 70 operatives to keep track of Khan’s movements. These individuals were assigned to conduct reconnaissance at several locations, including the actor’s Bandra residence, his Panvel farmhouse, and his shooting spots. Alarmingly, the gang even attempted to recruit minors as sharpshooters for the assassination attempt.

Previous Threats and Attempts

This is not the first time Salman Khan has been targeted by the Bishnoi gang. In 2022, a letter threatening the actor was found near his residence, and in March 2023, Khan received an email, allegedly sent by the gang, issuing death threats. In January 2024, two unidentified individuals tried to trespass into Khan’s Panvel farmhouse using fake identities, further heightening concerns about his safety.

The actor’s longstanding feud with Lawrence Bishnoi stems from the infamous 1998 blackbuck poaching case, in which Khan was accused of hunting the blackbuck, an animal sacred to the Bishnoi community. Bishnoi, who is currently imprisoned, has reportedly vowed to seek revenge for the incident.

As the investigation continues, Mumbai Police are working diligently to ensure Salman Khan’s safety. The arrest of key gang members and the ongoing surveillance of the actor’s surroundings indicate that authorities are taking these threats seriously. However, the latest threat has left both fans and industry insiders deeply concerned about the actor’s well-being.
