Malaika Arora Shines in Siddartha Tytler's Black Lehenga at ICW 2024

Malaika Arora captivated the audience with her stunning appearance in a structured black lehenga designed by Siddartha Tytler at the India Couture Week (ICW) 2024. The event, a highlight of the fashion calendar, continued to impress on its third day with an array of glamorous and innovative designs.

The FDCI India Couture Week 2024 has been a showcase of high fashion and creative excellence, and Siddartha Tytler’s collection added an extra layer of drama to the proceedings. Known for his visually striking applique work, creative designs, and elaborate surface embellishments, Tytler’s collection was inspired by the opulent world of Caligula, delivering an extravagant fashion statement.

Malaika Arora took center stage as the muse for Tytler, embodying the essence of high fashion with a breathtaking black lehenga adorned with metallic accents. The ensemble featured a structured plunging blouse paired with an embellished lehenga, exuding a glamorous and sophisticated aura. The actress complemented her look with carefully chosen bangles, earrings, and rings, adding an extra touch of elegance.

Her makeup and styling were equally impeccable, with a bronzed look, smokey eyes, and wispy lashes enhancing her glamorous appearance. Tytler custom-picked the blouse for Arora from a selection of five designs, ensuring it perfectly matched her high-fashion persona.

Previously, Siddartha Tytler had collaborated with actress Nargis Fakhri for the HT City Showstoppers’ photoshoot, where Fakhri wore a cold-shoulder peplum top in striking black. The top featured padded shoulders, full sleeves, and intricate embellishments like glistening crystals and a rhinestone necklace. Paired with a black-and-grey, three-tiered tulle skirt with pleated ruffles, Fakhri embodied a gothic bride, showcasing Tytler’s signature dramatic flair.

Malaika Arora’s appearance in Tytler’s creation was a standout moment of ICW 2024, demonstrating the designer’s ability to blend traditional elements with modern glamour. The fashion extravaganza continues to celebrate couture excellence, with each designer bringing their unique vision to the runway.
